2022 SECA/SCECA IN PERSON Conference has ended
Welcome to the SCECA/SECA joint regional IN PERSON conference! We are thrilled to have you here in Myrtle Beach! Our theme is " Big Learning, Bigger Fun: Building a Foundation for the Future!"  

To receive credit for attendance in each session, you must complete and submit the Training Credit verification form located in the box with the session description on the app or you can scan the QR code at the door of each session.   Once submitted, you will receive a notice that it’s been received.

Dina is the Lead Teacher of the Preschool Program at the Child Development Lab School(CDL) at the University of Georgia. She is beginning her 15th year at the CDL. During this time she has worked as an Assistant Teacher with Older Toddlers, Preschool, and Multi-Age. In March 2019 Dina became the Lead Teacher of the Preschool Program. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from the University of North Georgia and Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Concordia University, St. Paul. In 2017 the Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children awarded Dina with  the first ever Peggy A. Gallagher Award for Inclusion of Young Children with Special Needs. In April 2018 Dina was one of fifty nationwide recipients to be awarded with the 2018 Terri Lynne Lokoff/Children’s TYLENOL® Children’s Zyrtec® National Child Care Teacher Award. She is currently a member of the Editorial Committee for the Southern Early Childhood Association, (SECA) where she writes children’s book reviews for Dimensions, SECA’s biannual publication, and has served as guest editor.
